Best Western Maryland Zirakpur: Surprisingly Indian
Abstract: Our stay at the BWM was a pleasant one albeit felt too Indian in terms of the food. Small portions will keep some at bay for future trips but I would visit again just for the service. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Best Western is the American equivalent of McDonald's but with a little more oomph. The brand is synonymous with great quality and service and should be a safe bet for someone traveling with a family anywhere. The BW at Zirakpur is an exception to this standard and when you enter, the first thing you see is a sign saying, "Owned and Run Independently". This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, in this case, is could be a bad omen. Our visit was on the 2nd July 2017 with reservations made via 'MakeMyTrip'. An executive room was booked with a lunch and dinner plan which entitles two adults and one child to the buffet which set me back by 2500 INR. The hotel is situated behind a gas station which is pretty weird but they have made arrangements ...
